Czech made man was the first Czech feature film shot on the new ARRI Alexa camera. Goya award winning DOP Antonio Riestra shot and graded the film with Avion Colorist Geoffrey Case. The Director of this unusual story, Tomas Řehorek brought together a series of anecdotes from an unbelievable, but true story of one man’s life. DOP Antonio’s striking visual style and use of incredibly bold colors led to another visually stunning film. VFX work was quite complex with a long series of complex compositing as indoor shots were filmed in Prague on the Alexa, with exteriors, seen through large windows throughout, shot in Shanghai on a Canon 5D. Kudos to Jiří and his VFX team for excellent pre-planning and completion of an extensive number of shots in a limited amount of time.
